Teaching Procedures 
I. Preparation for listening 
• Look at the pictures on P58 and answer some questions. 
• What can you see in the two pictures? Where are they? 
What do you think has happened to the boy and the girl?• Read the requirements quickly and find 

out what to do. 
II. Listening 
Two people have just arrived at the hospital, each with a child. A nurse is asking them questions. 
1.Listen to the tape. What happened to each child?

for example, empty bottles.Keep them on a high shelf out of the reach of children.
