教学目标
　　1.掌握would you mind +动名词，和Could you please +动词原形等表示提出请求的句型结构。
　　2.掌握“表示道歉”的方法及will+动词原形表达目的或意图的用法。
　　3.培养学生[此文转于www.2xuewang.com网 (www.2xuewang.com)]养成良好社会公德和乐于助人的意识。

　　一、情景导入
　　教师播放制作的“良好社会公德”的图片内容，学唱How do you do?这首英文歌曲，学生思考Is there anything that we can do for you?  
　　二、课前热身
　　教师出示“不良社会公德”的宣传画或播放制作的“不良社会公德”的图片内容，问学生，What should we do? We can say: Would you mind (not) …?/Could you please (not) …?教师可把这两种句型结构写在黑板上，向学生说明“向别人提请求”这种表达方式。

　　三、教学SectionA-1a,1b
　　1. 师生讨论教师出示的卡通画，相互问答，同时学生可完成1a的填空任务。
　　　 师：Look at picture! What’s the problem?
　　　 生：It’s too noisy. 
　　　 师：What should we say about this?
　　　 生：We can say: Would you mind turning down the music?（教师诱导）
　　　 师：How can you say sorry about this?
　　　 生：We can say: Sorry, I’ll turn it down right away.（教师诱导）
　　　 说明：呈现Would you mind+动名词表达“请求”。
　　2. 播放学习指导中中学英语人教课标版8年级课后提高中的多媒体课件中的SectionA-1b部分，学生完成听力任务，并展示答案。
　　四、教学SectionA-1c
　　教师叫一组学生读出给出的例子。
　　　 A：Would you mind moving your bike?
　　　 B：OK, I’ll do it right away.
　　　 说明：学生练习“提出请求和表达歉意的句型结构”。
　　师生以上述内容为基础，进行讨论，然后相互问答：
　　　 师：Could you please move your bike?
　　　 生：Sure, no problem.
　　　 说明：呈现Could you please +动词原形这一句型结构，说明could不是过去式的体现，而是表示有礼貌的请求。
　　五、教学SectionA-2a,2b
　　利用学习指导中中学英语人教课标版8年级课后提高中的多媒体课件中的SectionA-2a,2b进行下列教学活动。
　　1. 要求学生快速阅读2a，2b的要求，引导学生进行分析信息，听选相关信息。
　　2. 让学生观察图片，然后比照旁边的句子，理解图片的内容。
　　3. 进行听力练习，学生根据录音内容完成2a和2b。如有错误，教师纠正答案。
　　重放一遍录音内容，学生跟读。
　　说明：学生通过听力练习，进一步熟悉本课的目标语言。
　　六、教学SectionA-2c
　　学生在完成2a、2b的听力任务后，以听力材料为基础，进行2c的结对练习。
　　　 学生A: Nick, would you mind not wearing those jeans? They look terrible.
　　　 学生B: OK, I will put on another pair.
　　　 说明：呈现would you mind not…?句型结构，并联系“提出请求”的语言功能项目。
　　七、教学拓展
　　总结在日常生活中，我们经常遇到“向别人请求提供帮助”这种情况，常用到的句型：
　　　 ①Could you read the letter for me, please?
　　　 ②Would you please open the window?
　　　 ③Could / May I use your bike? / Would you mind I using your bike?
　　　 ④Could you help me? Could you give me a hand?
